Who We Are & What We Do
We are a nonprofit organization bringing help and assistance to families in need in their homes, in the community, or virtually. Whatever the family needs, we want to be a resource of support to make life safer and more enjoyable for neurodivergent families.
Mission
We provide personalized tools and plans for families with neurodivergent individuals. We want to help those who are raising autistic people to have the proper tools and safety items they need to live a happier, safer life. We also want to help bring awareness about local agencies and the resources available to them. We also provide personalized visuals as well as communication devices to help build communication skills in the home as well.
Vision
We bring community and assistance to those who need it. For now, we can help those in LA and Riverside County with the resources available in the county as well as services we can provide. We also provide in-home consultations on home saftwey tips, help with communication skills, and behavior skills. We also provide information, as well as a community of people who are just like you. we understnad how it can be hard to connect with others who arent in the neurodivergent world.

My name is Carleigh (Car-lee), I am the founder of Our Nuerodivergent House, and very happy you are here. About me, I am a mom of three autistic boys, but that isn't my only experience with neurodiversity. I have also worked in special needs daycares with children and young adults with a range of different diagnoses. I also have my Bachelor's in Psychology, and many years working in tandem with my kiddos' ABA therapists learning many things along the way. My first kiddo was diagnosed back in 2017, and since then, it feels like I have become an entirely different person. Most of that is thanks to not just doctors or therapists, but other parents/caregivers sharing advice and services available that I never even knew existed. That is what inspired me to create this community. I want to share those things I have learned, but on a larger scale. I want to be able to reach more people and do it all free of cost. I, too, hope that I can learn from all of you along the way as well. I don't think there is ever a time you can stop learning, especially when it comes to neurodiversity. I look forward to the adventure ahead, and hope you can join us!
